Ethiopian Coffee

About Ethiopia

Ethiopia is considered to be the birthplace of the coffee and of coffee culture in africa. In ethopia over 12 million people are involved in the cultivation, picking and processing of coffee, and coffee remains a central part of Ethiopian culture on a daily basis.

Ethiopia is the 5th largest coffee-producing nation in the world, and the highest producing nation in Africa. Ethiopians consume about half of their country’s coffee, exporting only 3.5 million bags out of the 6.5 million produced annually. The well known coffees out of Ethopia are Sidamo, Yirgacheffe, Guji, Harrar and Limu. We are so excited about Ethopian coffees always as we get the most amazing and delicate coffees from Ethiopia.
